Extensive range of CAD interfaces. PEPS fixture comes with an extensive range of integrated CAD data translators that allow the direct import of CAD drawings in their native form or as industry standards, such as IGES, STEP, and DXF. The standard system configuration comes with interfaces for DXF, AutoCAD DWG, AutoCAD-Inventor, VISI, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, IronCAD and IGES. Optional CATIA v4, CATIA v5, Unigraphics, Pro-Engineer, VDA and STEP translators are available. PEPS fixture can display the CAD data as simple wireframe, solids and surfaces or a combination of all three.

The Savings. Fabricated forms typically need to be held using fixtures and most often, the design or outsourcing of a suitable fixture is time consuming and/or costly. by using inexpensive sheet metal to create an automatic "egg-box" - type fixture - basically a negative of the part model - the time savings are dramatic and the costs radically reduced. the return on investment for PEPS fixture can be gained quickly when compared against just a few traditional fixture expenses.

Automated fixture design. Simply define the number of horizontal and vertical support sheets (blades), how they interlock - including locking features if you require them. Once these details have been defined, PEPS fixture creates each sheet, nests them on standard sheet metal sizes, adds assembly notes such as number references and creates the DXF data with which to manufacture them.

Editing. PEPS fixture allow the direct editing of the fixture blades to add or remove geometric features. The set of blades or individual blades are selested and presented in 2D XY orientation. Using the in-build CAD functions, the blades can be modified and upon completion, they are automatically reinserted into the fixture assembly.
